Won't You Help Protect Children's Rights
Many of the soccer balls sold in the United States are made by children in Pakistan. As the children stitch the leather balls by hand, for extremely low wages and often under harsh working conditions, their fingers can become crippled. Their work also prevents them from receiving an education. You can help stop the exploitation and crippling of children.

Call toll free (888) 661-2445. You will hear a recorded list of U.S. companies committed to stopping the production of soccer balls by children. At the end of the recording, you can request that a copy of the list be sent to you.

Take the list to a coach or director of your local soccer league. With him or her, check the brand of soccer balls used by your league. Urge the league to pledge, perhaps at a game or at some other public league event, never to purchase soccer balls made by exploited children.
