Town Hall Meetings on
Human Rights
|
The Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt
Institute has worked with national coalition members over
the past year to anticipate and develop the resources and
materials you need to produce a successful Town Hall
Meeting. Prominent among the resources is the IN
YOUR HANDS Community Action Guide
prepared under the leadership of one of our key
coalition members, the Jacob Blaustein Institute for the
Advancement of Human Rights at the American Jewish
Committee. This program manual contains very specific
action ideas to help you focus your community on
achievable objectives.
Other important resources include our National
Human Rights Speakers Bureau. On behalf of the
coalition, the United Nations Association of the USA has
developed a referral service with more than 300 human
rights experts who are available to participate in Town
Hall Meetings across the country.
Check the Resources
section of this web site for other materials and
services.
