| Domestic violence continues to shatter and
destroy the lives of women and girls in the United States at appalling rates. More than
950 American women and girls are sexually assaulted every day, according to the U.S.
Justice Department. You can help assist survivors of such assaults to recover and you can join in projects to prevent assaults by contacting:
RAINN will record the names and addresses of callers willing to volunteer at local rape crisis centers, then transmit this information to the center nearest the caller. The center will contact you to arrange for your participation in one or more of its programs.
